A bit late, but a very important post – introducing myself. I actually lost the “About me” page in the Backupocalypse that I mentioned before, so there’s no official introduction of me outside of a little paragraph in my Twitch channel description I guess. Will return that page with “official” introduction at some point, but today is a bit free format one, because I feel like it’s not going to be the first time introducing myself during annual Blaugusts.
This year I’d describe myself as a wandering digital hobo, even though it does describe my life for the past 3 years, this year was extreme in terms of travels. It’s a little past half point of this year and I visited 8 countries, in some I lived for a couple of months, in some it was a week or two, while usually I had 2 or 3 countries per year. Being a small full-time content creator reinforces the hobo part, living off pretty modest income that mostly consists of direct support from viewers. So all that travelling around with full livestreaming setup to stream games and to explore new countries together with viewers live with my IRL streaming setup.
Streaming for living for over 8 years already, focused on videogames mostly, but recently with travels I added more IRL content – feels like a waste to visit new interesting places and to not explore them, might as well share that experience. Videogame focus still stays though, over the years I got to work with many publishers and developers, getting my hands on some games early and showcasing lots of indie games to my community. Recently I started my own little showcase focused on Steam Next Fest demos, to show my community some interesting demos to check and to get some bonus wishlists to developers.

Oh yeah, now I’m also blogging, so hopefully next year I can extend my title with this “new” activity. Lots of travels, lots of games, lots of things to talk about, just need to find time and get to writing, tomorrow another post for sure, but only going to have some time in the morning for one post.
