My Real Life. 2026 Edition

Posted about some dreams, now what do we actually have here on the ground and what to realistically expect from the nearby future. I do yap about stuff on stream quite often, but it’s probably quite tricky to get the whole picture for someone tuning in from time to time, so here’s a better angle and archive/diary for future me.

Summer trip home is about to be over, waiting for my second travel passport to be issued, wrapping up all the chores and plans here, September gonna be the last month of my trip for sure. Hopefully end of September I’m already on my way to Armenia again, there are rumours that in October there will be lots of expats leaving for reasons, so it’s better to travel before chaos ensues.

Plan is to stay in Armenia, Gyumri for around 6 months this time, skipping some crazy travels to chill and restore finances after last time. I might travel inside Armenia and IRL a bit or maybe do some short range quick travels somewhere nearby, but not sure yet, we’ll see if there will be some nice budget friendly opportunities and how the weather will be. It ain’t South East Asia, region actually has winters with snow and cold after all.

Glorious small apartment that my friend rents will probably be the base of operations, might be not the best, but it’s really budget friendly at least. 6 months in a small apartment with my alcoholic friend in winter in Armenia doesn’t sounds like a great prospect, but it’s not too bad. There are some nice friends to hang out with in Gyumri to relax a bit and there’s a lot of gaming and streaming to do that I’m currently really looking forward to. Financial part and going full hobo mode is nice too, since living with grandma demolished all my weight loss probably already, gonna need to get it back.

Planning to do a Subathon this autumn, it’s been a while since the last one and I sure could use a little boost in finances, not gonna lie. Maybe it will help to push sub points to reach Partner+ status and get a better cut from Twitch, I’m like 5-10 subs short every month pretty much. Lots of streaming in general, small amount of day offs, but I also think about dedicating more time to YT and other types of content to branch out and improve the reach, instead of just pumping lots of streaming hours. Charity stream traditionally closer to December, doing one every year and not gonna make an exception this year. Maybe I’ll stream during New Years this time, not sure, depends on what kind of plans friends will have this year, not looking forward to some crazy parties, so that I might skip, some cozy gathering I’d join. Will do some IRLs also for sure, maybe even more drone streaming if weather allows, Gyumri and maybe some other cities (or even countries) if I’ll go for some light travels.

After Armenia going back home again around March to try to get German visa and attend TwitchCon in Berlin next May. All this is like big questing mark, because planning even few weeks ahead is hard nowadays, few months is even harder, but at least I want to try. Returning again to Berlin for another TwitchCon after last time I’ve been there was for TC 2019 would be kinda cool, 8 years later, haven’t seen all the fellow streamers and community peeps that long. Will try to make it a week with IRL streaming there and then also a week or more in the country that will be in the middle of my travels (maybe Turkiye). That would be perfect, but I’ll also take just TwitchCon days limited travel.

Staying home for summer again then, maybe if TC trip goes well trying to travel and attend Gamescom next year, I do get a lot of invitations from devs, publishers and agencies this year. Would be nice to meet with devs and other industry people, try some new games, get some merch and of course hang out with community people attending (we have some every year). Again with some IRL streams of course.

Going really far for currently available planning horizon already, but I still can plan, question is if these plans will be realistic closer to date. After Gamescom time (end of August) going to Tokyo Game Show maybe (middle of September) and from there starting my next Asia Nomad Arc with some new and old countries. Not too crazy with jumping locations though, this time planning to sit down in one country for a while and take it chill, Vietnam would be great, want to deal with a lot of dentist stuff there too. Maybe finally getting a diving license there, oh and maybe getting bike category added to my driver’s license when I’m at home.

Canadian frozen wieners, perfect for the hobo diet

Post turning into more dream plans again, at least for me and my current circumstances, because in fact even 1 month away is completely fog of war covered territory. Even Armenia part might end up being tricky or impossible easily, but I believe that should happen, so the least exciting part will be safe most likely. Guess we’ll revisit this one in a year to see where life decided to laugh at my plans.
