Yesterday we lost a legend – both streaming and gaming. Sad that I didn’t get a chance to meet him IRL, it could happen in Amsterdam this year, because he was going, but then corona ruined that.

This year in general keeps getting worse, but unfortunately behind all the shitty things this year there are mostly our mistakes and failures as humanity, one way or another. We can blame 2020 for all that happened and is still happening and hell there might be more coming too, but we need to realize that behind all that shit there are real problems that we need to address and work on fixing that, otherwise in 6 months we will be blaming 2021 already. As you all probably already know I’m on vacation starting today 25.06 and all the way until 05.07, going back to streaming on Monday 06.07.

First vacation in my more than 2 years of streaming and first since 2016, so it will be nice to get some free time, even though vacation is quite hobo – just going to the summer house with friends for like 5 days and then sitting home for the rest of it doing some stream related stuff and chores, but time with friends is precious, especially that much time in one go with whole bunch of them. Yeah, there was a lot of 5Head blog posts last week and I wanted to get back to game reviews and such stuff, but you never know when something worth posting happens, so here we go again with a big brain big text. Actually was debating about sending it after I already wrote everything, don’t want it to look like some sort of attempt to ride the drama wave, clickbait etc, but it’s mostly my viewers who will read it anyway and I just like sharing my thoughts.

For those of you who don’t know, Twitch last week created a new “organization” that is supposed to advise them on many topics regarding the platform – from development of new tech features to creating new policies and rules. Council is 8 people currently and has various experts in different fields and of course streamers. Now that some of time related things in previous post and explained how my approach to scheduling and streaming hours works, time to touch another topic that is quite close and connected to streaming hours and planning aka things you stream or games (well at least for me, not everything is games on Twitch nowadays).

Time management is a very important topic for everyone really and realization of that drops on you very hard and suddenly usually at some point in your life when adulting starts invading your daily routine.

There are already lots of time management long reads, coaches and other things to tell you how to live your life optimally, tbh I’m not very good with that myself being quite lazy, not sure if all those coaches would help me, so I’m trying to help myself.
