Was supposed to be catching up, but ended up missing a couple of days instead, downside of being back home compared to travels – too much stuff that affects my plans out of my control. Even though most of my travels I’m not solo (sadly, mostly financial reasons), but it’s still just one person usually and it’s easier to discuss plans, besides I’m the one planning stuff mostly since travels are also my stream content.

I love MMOs. Back in a day I was in every beta test and while paying sub and sometimes even buying the game was quite often out of my capabilities I still played a lot of MMOs. One of the main issues was the time consumption, which lead to me skipping a few years in single player games history and partially made me stop with MMOs. I just wanted to catch up with some other games and preferred to not lose touch with single player games and tried to touch grass some more, getting my life in the right place. Sometimes I could return to some of the MMOs of my past to scratch the itch for a bit, but I never felt like genre should be changed in any way to accommodate people like me with limited time. That feeling of going full degenerate mode grinding some levels or farming some resources, especially when done together with some friends is great. Being able to skip a few days of grinding, because you are busy, but then to go crazy during the weekend, grabbing some snacks and just diving in for a massive session, because you have time now. Flexing some rare item or mount that everyone knows is rare, getting ahead of competition with the power of grind and by getting lucky, getting the build going and optimizing your farm.

Usually post my streaming schedule on Mondays, but again was a bit of a busy Sunday and Monday, so I posted it late and why not share it here also, get some plans and recaps posted from time to time. Easier for people to navigate all the content on different platforms and in different formats this way plus easier to catch some of that live when it comes to streaming. A bit late, but a very important post – introducing myself. I actually lost the “About me” page in the Backupocalypse that I mentioned before, so there’s no official introduction of me outside of a little paragraph in my Twitch channel description I guess. Will return that page with “official” introduction at some point, but today is a bit free format one, because I feel like it’s not going to be the first time introducing myself during annual Blaugusts.

August started and that means Blaugust started too, right on the day I need to go to the countryside with my family, now I’m finally in bed with my laptop to write this post. A bit of a scuffed beginning for this marathon, but it is what it is, unfortunate timing of IRL plans and there will be more of these timings during the month too. At least next times I hope I will get some posts prepared in advance, this time due to all the tech issues I was dealing with last couple of days I couldn’t prepare much, so we are doing it live. I guess that’s kinda fitting for my livestreamer life and I also didn’t want to skip the very first day of the marathon. Have to say time pressure and challenging myself already works, need to fight procrastination and perfectionism.

Been a while, since I posted here. Well, technically it’s been a little less time, but my previous hosting just broke all my websites together with backups and the only backup I had was quite old. I did manage to scavenge the database at least, so that whole one post that is missing I will add later (it needs some restoration work with pictures) just for the archives. Will be back to the topic of posting and archives a bit later in this post and introductions with other info I will leave for Blaugust, but first I’ll explain what it actually is.
